Heating Instructions: Cook times are approximate - depending on heating strengths, please test tempreature is at 75°C prior to consuming
Steaming
Time: ~45 mins – 1 Hour – Take it slow
1. Leave the pudding in its basin with lid
2. Put it on a trivet or upturned saucer in a large pot.
3. Add boiling water so it comes halfway up the pudding.
4. Cover pot with a lid.
5. Steam gently, topping up with boiling water if needed.
6. It’s ready when hot all the way through. (75 °C)
Microwave
Time: ~10–12 minutes total
1. Place Pudding in microwave, pop lid.
2. Heat on medium power (50–60%) for:
o 5 minutes → rest 1 minute
o Turn → 5 more minutes
3. Check the centre is hot; add 1–2 minutes if needed.
Let it rest 1–2 minutes before serving.
Oven method
Time: ~1 hour
1. Take pudding out of plastic container, wrap the pudding tightly in foil.
2. Place in an oven dish.
3. Heat at 120 °C for approximately 1hour.
4. Check it’s hot in the centre before serving. (75 °C)
How to check it’s ready
A skewer or knife inserted into the centre should feel hot when removed.
Use a Prob thermometer (75 °C)
